Nokia has announced its official membership in, and support of, the AI Pact, a voluntary initiative aimed at ensuring compliance with the European Union’s AI Act.
The AI Act, which establishes a binding legal framework for regulating AI systems based on their risk levels, came into effect in August 2024, with key obligations rolling out over the next three years.
The AI Pact focuses on helping businesses prepare for full compliance, adapt their existing AI processes, and collaborate through workshops organized by the EU to share insights and experiences.
