The enhanced 4G and 5G capacity has significantly improved mobile connectivity for customers in Nottingham, providing seamless access to online services, facilitating remote work, enabling smooth content streaming, and helping people stay connected with loved ones.

These enhancements form part of Virgin Media O2’s wider strategy to upgrade its network, with the operator investing GBP 2 million daily to future-proof its infrastructure and meet growing customer demand for seamless connectivity.

According to Steven Verigotta, Director of Mobile Delivery at Virgin Media O2, the company is “continuing to invest in our [its] network, with future upgrades planned to ensure that we [it] can continue to support our [its] customers both now and in the future.”

O2 remains the only mobile network operator that has not reinstated roaming fees within Europe, and customers can continue to save through its ‘Priority’ rewards scheme, which offers exclusive access to deals, prize draws, competitions, and presale tickets.

Notably, following Virgin Media and O2’s merger (implemented three years ago), both companies are now offering customers even greater benefits through Volt to enhance the UK’s connectivity.
