Telesat Lightspeed Arrives in Europe via Orange

Telesat Orange

Telesat and Orange have entered into a strategic multi-year partnership to enhance global satellite connectivity solutions. This collaboration will integrate Telesat Lightspeed’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite services into Orange Wholesale’s portfolio, expanding access to reliable, low-latency connectivity for businesses and telecom operators.

As part of the agreement, a Telesat Lightspeed Landing Station will be hosted at Orange’s teleport in Bercenay-en-Othe, France. This World Teleport Association (WTA) Tier-4-certified teleport will be the first European gateway for Telesat Lightspeed, offering a secure, high-performance connection that links directly to Telesat’s point of presence (PoP) in Paris through Orange Wholesale’s International Private Line (IPL).
