T-2 has successfully ensured uninterrupted network coverage along a segment of the M4 Don highway bypassing Rostov-on-Don and Aksay.
The company has installed 10 base stations along the 63 km stretch, providing reliable voice communication and high-speed mobile internet.
In preparation for the New Year holidays, T-2 has expanded its network infrastructure along major federal highways, achieving full coverage across the toll road section connecting Platov Airport to Sukhodolsk. The new equipment operates on 2G/4G networks, utilizing the 1800 MHz frequency range.

The antenna mast structures along the M4 Don bypass were erected by OOO Pilar, a tower company and subsidiary of T-2. The construction was carried out under a partnership agreement between Avtodor and PAO Rostelecom, facilitating the installation of network equipment within road rights-of-way and the development of LTE networks along highways, benefiting all telecommunications market players.
Pavel Kovalsky, Director of Technical Strategy at T-2, added that, “In 2024, the company completed two major projects in this area: we were the first of the operators to fully cover the M11 Neva, M12 Vostok, and the toll section of the M4 Don bypassing Krasnodar with communications. By the New Year holidays, construction was completed on the eastern bypass of Rostov-on-Don, which is also part of the M4 and allows motorists to bypass Rostov traffic jams in the direction of the Black Sea and Azov coasts. Now, our subscribers have access to high-quality communications and high-speed mobile internet throughout the entire route along this section.”
