Rudolf Schrefl, CEO of Drei Österreich, added, “With the new Speed Connect Gigabit partnership, we are once again significantly accelerating the rollout of our fiber optic offering in Austria. Using an open network by several providers is the most ecologically and economically sensible way to do this.
“Thanks to our partnerships, including Speed Connect, we will reach around 25 percent of all households and companies across Austria with super-fast fiber optics by the end of the year. With our broad offering of 5G, 5G+ and fiber optics, we are making digitization even more available and affordable for everyone in Austria.”
Through this initiative, Speed Connect Austria and Drei Österreich are paving the way for a more digitally connected and sustainable future for rural Austria.
