Kitron, a Scandinavian electronics manufacturing services company serving sectors such as connectivity, electrification, medical devices, and more, has inked a five-year manufacturing agreement with a prominent technology firm specializing in cutting-edge IoT solutions.
The agreement, boasting confirmed orders worth EUR 15 million (set for delivery in 2025), includes the production of a gateway device designed to connect sensors with cloud-based systems, enabling asset tracking and shipment monitoring in the logistics industry.

Manufacturing will be carried out at Kitron’s Kaunas facility in Lithuania, focusing on high-level assembly processes.

Kitron Lithuania recently introduced an Automated Glueing System, which replaces manual glue application with a more efficient, high-quality alternative.
The system enhances production by ensuring consistent product quality across all runs and significantly reducing the time needed for glue application. It also offers flexibility for adjustments across various products and requires minimal maintenance, further optimizing Kitron’s manufacturing capabilities.
