Athens as a Key Hub
The initial phase of Gemini’s operations will focus on constructing a hyperscale-ready data center campus in the Greater Athens Area, with a committed power capacity of 130 MW. This campus will serve as a foundation for a robust digital ecosystem, addressing the growing needs of cloud service providers (CSPs), content delivery networks (CDNs), and enterprises.
Designed with energy efficiency at its core, the facilities will incorporate cutting-edge cooling technologies and renewable energy solutions to reduce their environmental footprint.
Gemini envisions establishing Athens as a key digital hub, offering secure, low-latency, and sustainable data center services to both domestic and international clients. This initiative is set to strengthen Greece’s standing in the global data economy while promoting innovation and connectivity.
