Deutsche Telekom’s IT services subsidiary, T-Systems, has strengthened its longstanding partnership with Broadcom, extending a collaboration that spans nearly two decades.
T-Systems has now attained the status of VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) Pinnacle tier partner—the top tier within the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program. This designation reflects T-Systems’ role as a key strategic partner to Broadcom, which has recognized it for its extensive certifications, significant sales and service accomplishments, and global reach.
As a Pinnacle partner, T-Systems demonstrates a high level of technological expertise and plays a crucial role in working closely with Broadcom to assist customers in navigating complex challenges and embracing cutting-edge digital technologies.
Through its role as a Pinnacle Partner, T-Systems is also supporting the VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) White Label model. This initiative allows T-Systems to supply VCSP-registered tier partners with licenses, technical support, and optional hosting services. These partners can then rebrand and offer the services as their own, seamlessly integrating VMware products into their portfolios and expanding their service offerings.

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Private Cloud Platform
As part of the enhanced collaboration, T-Systems will boost customer innovation by delivering managed private cloud services, including sovereign cloud solutions, powered by VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). The VCF private cloud platform enables organizations to modernize their infrastructure while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO). It also ensures a seamless cloud experience with enterprise-grade security and resilience.
T-Systems plans to offer VCF-based services on a global scale, empowering customers to maximize their potential and benefit from the long-term stability of their cloud infrastructure solutions.
Ferri Abolhassan, CEO of T-Systems and a board member of Deutsche Telekom, stated that the partnership with Broadcom plays a crucial role in the company’s multi-cloud strategy. “Complemented by our hyperscaler solutions, we can provide our customers exactly what they need, always, and worldwide,” noted Abolhassan.
“Broadcom will continue its close collaboration with T-Systems—one of our most valued partners—to accelerate our mutual customers’ infrastructure modernization, AI adoption, and cyber resilience while also supporting their needs with sovereign cloud services that enable data residency and other jurisdictional controls,” said Hock Tan, President and CEO of Broadcom Inc.
T-Systems and VMware, now part of Broadcom, have enjoyed a 20-year close partnership. Through its Future Cloud Infrastructure (FCI) offering, T-Systems facilitates tool-based migrations from any IT infrastructure to VMware technology. Additionally, the company has established a VMware Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), streamlining and reducing the cost of cloud transitions. This initiative provides customers with access to VMware’s full range of cloud infrastructure, application modernization, and security services.
